TRAVEL INFORMATION

There are many options to Meribel and we will be happy to advise

BY CAR

With many cheap fares available on the ferries and the shuttle, driving is a popular method of travel with many of our guests, allowing great flexibility and independance in the resort. It is motorway all the way from Calais to within 30 minutes of the chalet. Tolls are approximately 400 french Francs.

BY AIR

There are many flight options to Geneva, Lyon and Chambery. We can arrange transfers to the resort. Transfer time 2 hours from Lyon or Geneva or 1 hour from Chambery.

BY TRAIN

With the new fast service from Paris, train travel to Meribel has become even easier. We can pick you up off the train at Moutiers, 10 miles from Meribel. There is also a snowtrain which leaves London on Friday afternoons and returns Sunday mornings

BY COACH

London to Meribel from £79 return. Run by Ski Meribel 0181 649 8458. Overnight from London arrives in the resort Saturday mornings and departs on Saturday evenings for the return trip, so you have the possibilty of 8 days skiing!. There luxury sleeper coach means that you sleep comfortably for the journey! .

Directions:
Albertville --> Meribel

From Albertville, take direction Moutiers (N90)

On entering Moutiers, follow Meribel.

Moutiers/Meribel takes about 20 minutes.

We are at  5 minutes after the village Les Allues.

The entrance to la Gittaz is in a corner just after the ski lift Olmpique on the left.
You are not allowed to turn left coming uphill ito the village. So you must do a U turn 200 metres further and come back to turn right.

Park at the first car park. To find Les Rossignols, cross the second car park and follow the path which goes up just in front of you for 30 metres, it is the biggest chalet you see.
