Colmar is in the Haut Rhin, Alsace

Wonderful historical architecture in this very old frontier town. Half-timbered buildings and cobble streets, market stands and restaurants.

Colmar is located in Alsace and is the capital of Haut Rhin department (The Upper Rhine). The city is just a couple of miles from the river Rhine and frontier with Germany.

The very well known Christmas market is a worthy visit.
