Albi, France
Albi is in the Tarn, Midi-Pyrenees The capital of Albi is renowned for the beautiful red brick cathedral Sainte Cecile which is towers above the river Tarn. This is the home town of the artist Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, the museum is just beside the cathedral. With many pedestrian streets shopping in the the city centre is very agreeable, old half-timbered buildings and cobbled streets.  The people of Albi are called Albigoeis. |
